ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a compassionate Asian Hindi/Urdu speaking caregiver to provide personalized in-home support to clients. Your role will involve assisting with daily living activities, offering companionship, and ensuring the client’s comfort, dignity, and well-being. This role supports clients who feel more comfortable communicating in Hindi or Urdu, making cultural sensitivity and language fluency essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with daily living activities including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility support.
• Prepare meals and assist with eating, with respect to cultural and dietary preferences.
• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation in Hindi or Urdu.
• Help with light housekeeping such as laundry, dishes, and home organization.
• Monitor and document any changes in client health or behavior and report to the supervisor.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or walks as needed.
• Offer medication reminders and support client routine adherence.
• Follow individualized care plans and maintain open communication with the care team and families.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• Candidate must be Certified from IDOA as a HomeCare Supervisor.
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, social work, nursing, or a related field (preferred).
• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in home care, healthcare, or related industries. Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling software.
• Certification in home care or healthcare management (preferred).
• Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations in home care services. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for field visits.
